My 'Go-To' Breakfast Smoothie
If you follow me, you are guarantied to see this dark green concoction featured on my story…in rotation. But this ‘dark green concoction’ is pretty much the only reason I get out of bed every single morning. One of my biggest priorities is to always start my day with clean, vitamin-packed breakfast that will keep me satisfied throughout the day, without fail. Not only does this smoothie check off all the “vitamin + mineral” boxes for the day, It is also super anti-aging, fiber and protein rich, and gives me the biggest boost of energy (… without the crash later). Here is the ‘How-To’.

Serving size: 1
INGREDIENTS (All Organic)
1/4-1/2 Frozen Banana
Large handful of Kale ( I probably use 2 cups)
Handful of Spinach ( I probably use 1 cup)
1/4 of Cucumber, sliced, skin on (easier to blend, more fiber)
2 ribs of celery (optional: I only add this if I need to eat the celery before it goes bad or I’m in the mood. If you hate the taste celery, add less or none at all)
Protein powder of choice ( I use 2 TBSP of organic hemp protein)
1 tsp of Spirulina powder
1 TBSP nut butter of choice ( I use Nuttzo organic paleo power fuel crunchy butter… try this and you will never go back)
1 pitted date
Liquid of choice ( I just use water)
Toppings (optional):
Cacao nibs
HOW TO MAKE
Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth
Optional: I love my smoothies super thick so after everything is blended,
I add a ton of ice cubes and blend until smooth.
Add cacao nibs on top
