My Favorite Jewelry Brands

I have always been one to say “quality over quantity” when it comes to jewelry. To me, spending money on jewelry that turns after 5 or 6 wears is money straight up wasted. That’s why I am super picky when choosing where I buy my everyday pieces. However, not every good-quality piece has to be hundreds of dollars…you just have to know where to find them and what to look out for. Below are my list of go-to brands I always buy my jewelry from, ranked from most affordable to splurge worthy, and tips for finding good-quality pieces on your own.

The best OF THE BEST

ALV Jewels

Although this brand is definitely a “costume jewelry” brand, I absolutely love their Tube Hoops in size Small. They are super affordable and the perfect size for an everyday gold hoop. I don’t wear my hoops in the shower or in water, but they haven’t really turned too much since I got them (about 6 months ago). I few other pieces I own are the Pearl Hoops and the Snake Chain Necklace. Love them!

Karen Lazar Design

The OG of gold beaded bracelets. The entirety of Karen’s collection is built on simplicity and customization. I love her gold beaded choker in size 3mm and her classic gold beaded bracelets for stacking. I wear her jewelry every. single. day. (Shower, in water, everything) and they have never turned! Seriously worth every penny… and not to mention…compliment heavy!

Lili Claspe

Definitely an insta-hyped designer but Lili Claspe is worth the rave. For their price point, the quality, and a mix between playful and classic designs, I will always recommend LC! I don’t advice you to wear their jewelry in the shower or in water all the time but I have before and my necklaces have passed the test…with flying colors!

Maria Black

I recently discovered this Copenhagen-born brand and have quickly fallen in love with some of their pieces. The brand’s prices range from very affordable to more fine, investment designs. Nevertheless, every piece is amazing quality, has a minimalistic flare, yet unique in its own right. I love their pieces and if you haven’t already heard about them, go take a look!

Adina Reyter

Adina’s designs offers, without-a-doubt, investment pieces but with a fun, modern twist! Think “whimsy jewelry” but high quality and classically timeless. My necklace from her never leaves my neck and continues to always be a “Omg! Where from?” everyday staple.

ByChari

I’m just going to say it…this brand is the most under-the-radar and underrated brand I have ever purchased from. One of my family members and I received personalized necklaces from ByChari about 4 years ago and I have never taken mine off since. This LA based brand is so intentional with every single design and has shaped the way we wear jewelry. ByChari is worn because of it’s effortless, unique and modern design, to communicate sophistication yet simplicity of one’s life, and to tell her story. ByChari will always be my favorite for my everydays.

The Last Line

Imagine walking into a colorful candy shop, but the candy is diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, and so so much more! The Last Line is rewriting the rules of jewelry world one finely priced diamond at a time Each one-of-a-kind piece is purchased through periodic drops, creating the ultimate clout atmosphere around the brand. Pieces range from classic diamond tennis necklaces to rainbow dinosaur huggies. This brand always makes me smile and the fact that every piece is extremely fine and high quality makes it even more worth the purchase!

Spinelli Kilcollin Jewelry

Unfortunately, I have only been able to look afar at these gorgeous rings but this brand is at the top of my list for my next splurge or special event! This brand is up and coming but no less timeless than some of the most renowned brands, like Tiffany’s.

Cartier

If you don’t already know about Cartier… please exit out of this article and please just look up Cartier. This brand is without a doubt a splurge but the pieces I own will carry me throughout my whole life and will eventually become heirlooms in my family. You truly will never go wrong with any design by this ageless brand.

TIPS + TRICKS

  1. Always look for solid gold. If not, gold filled is what you want—gold plated not as long-lasting, durable, or valuable.

  2. Never, ever get brass plated… you might as well light your money on fire.

  3. When in doubt, look on Etsy. It’s amazing what you can find for such a better price for, honestly, a better quality piece (my favorite shop is LA Couture Beads…check them out…just trust me!)

  4. When I think of buying a piece of jewelry that’s definitely a splurge, I always think about “Timeless”. Is it a trendy style or something that will still be beautiful as an adult? How many times will I wear it? Is it practical or could I wear it everyday? Do I wear gold/silver more or less everyday?… you need to think about this before making an impulse buy.
